Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Build My Voice (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This is a draft pending legal review.

1. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of the writing samples, prompts, and content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service — including building voice profiles and generating drafts. We do not sell Your Content. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and sub-processors.

3. AI-generated output

The Service uses AI models to generate content. Output may be inaccurate or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publishing it, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws and platform policies.

4. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your workspace billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. On account deletion, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
